Founded in Bamberg in 2018 by Benedikt Steger - an experienced graduate brewmaster with a background in craft breweries across Germany, London, and Paris - Blech.Brut quickly emerged as a leader in the German craft beer scene. Shortly after its launch, Benedikt was recognized by RateBeer as one of the Top 10 Best New Brewers Worldwide (2019). The project seamlessly combines Bavarian precision with a bold, innovative approach. The brewery focuses on the artistry of hops, producing benchmark hazy IPAs and unique dry-hopped lagers.
